Charlotte Brown is an Illustrator, Surface Pattern Designer, based in the West Midlands and is a graduate from Birmingham City University, with a First Class honours in Visual Communication, specialising in Illustration.
Charlotte possesses a flair for all things colourful, producing bright, bold, and expressive pieces. By working with more traditional materials such as acrylic paint, ink, and marker pens, she is able to layer, create marks, and most importantly, experiment.
Her strengths lie within in her application of colour and expressive mark making. Anything she can get her hands into, and create with, is where her passions lie. A desire for experimenting, playing with new materials, and challenging her abilities with any brief enables a fresh, bold, and vivid response to any set task, with an aim to create colourful and unique pieces that are one hundred percent, Charlotte Brown.
